Here at the WaterWeb our first priority is to maximize the marketing potential of the Web specifically for marine business on Cape Cod and the Islands with the following services:

Since its inception in November of 1997, the WaterWeb has been a very popular regional boating directory. We attribute this to our extensive database of listings and our sharp focus on Cape Cod making the directory an extremely valuable resource for visitors and residents alike.

In addition we have features specifically designed to bring visitors back to the site again and again in the form of contests, and free online classified advertising.

Plain Listings - FREE

Plain listings consist of the business name, address and phone number only. If you want to include your email address, a description or your business, or have a link to your Web site, you need an enhanced listing. See below.

Single Enhanced Listing - FREE

Bold face heading
address, and phone number
Web site link (if you have a Web site)
Description of your business, hours, etc. or whatever you want (up to 60 words)
Update any of the information in your listing at any time
One classification only
If you need more than one listing see Multiple Listings below.

Use our online listing application form to request a new listing or to update your existing listing.

Please note that your business must be on the Cape or must directly serve the Cape to be accepted for listing. We reserve the right to reject any listing that we deem inappropriate for inclusion in the directory for any reason.

Multiple Enhanced Listings

If you need to have your business listed in more than one category, you may do so. The first listing is free (see above). Additional listings are $20 per year per listing. You will be limited to a total of 4 listings in addition to your free listing.

Use our online multiple listings application form to request new listings. DO NOT used this form to update a existing listing.

Display Advertising

$60 per year per ad placement

There will be only one display ad--placed at the top of the page--on each page of the WaterWeb site. This insures the maximum exposure and benefit from each ad.

Purchase ad space on the page(s) most likely to be viewed by your target market
Your ad will be clickable--linked to your Web site
Same price for high-traffic pages such as the information page, nautical charts page, and classified ad pages.

You may provide your own ready-to-run ad copy via email as a graphic image in .gif or .jpeg file formats. Image size must be exactly 200 pixels wide x 150 pixels high.

We can provide display ad preparation for a:

Graphic ad (may include logo and/or photograph) - $40
Non-Graphic (text only with choice of background color) $15

Please note that the primary purpose of a display ad is to get the viewer to go to your Web site and find out more about you. Display ads will not be very effective if you do not have a Web site for your business.

Full Virtual Domain Web Sites by WebWorks Design

The WaterWeb is a production of WebWorks Design, a full-service Web design and development company. All site development and maintenance done by WebWorks is handled by an experienced Web developer and graphic designer who knows the marine industry on Cape Cod well.

Every business has its own unique set of needs, and because there are so many design possibilities and optional features available in Web design, it is nearly impossible to have a standard "price list" for custom Web site design. Visit the WebWorks Design Web site for more information.
